Why I Built It

A few reasons stacked up. I wanted to cut the cord — streaming services kept getting more expensive and worse, and a self-hosted setup costs nothing monthly once it's running. I wanted a place to practice hash cracking on my own hardware, with no cloud bills or time limits. I wanted a reliable dev station that could host whatever I felt like building. And I wanted secure remote access to all of it, which WireGuard handles.

More on each of those as I get to writing them up.
